Kennett Square Classes
When Street Lamp’s founder left her PA theatre to work full time at our Maryland location, we continued to have an amazing base of Pennsylvania students that traveled to the black box each week. We are thrilled to be coming back to PA this year! Our second location in the Kennett Square area will begin this summer at Willowdale Chapel with a musical theatre camp! More programming will be coming this fall!
Encanto Camp
June 10-14, 2024 Encanto Musical Theatre Camp (Kennett Square PA)
Ages 5-14 (1 week Camp)
Do you love the movie Encanto? Come sing and dance to your favorite Encanto Music while putting a show together with theatre, music, and dance professionals! We will work on music, acting, dances, along with doing fun Encanto themed crafts! Public performances will be June 14th.
Camp day is 9am-3pm. Before and aftercare available for an additional fee. Email slpedcoordinator@gmail.com for more info. Tuition is non-refundable. Tuition includes camp tee-shirt.
Shrek the Musical Jr.
Join Street Lamp Performing Arts Academy this fall for Shrek Jr! In this musical theatre training program students will learn music, acting, and dance, while putting together a full musical production for the public! Theatre training also teaches public speaking skills, learning flexibility, team work, self-confidence and so much more! No experience necessary! Everyone gets a role! Ages 5-18. Lots of fun roles for all!
Glee Club
Glee Club is coming to Kennett! We are thrilled to be offering one of our favorite classes! This small group of performers will sing and dance to our favorite songs in the community! This group will have opportunities to perform solos, duets, and small group numbers to Broadway, Disney, pop, rock, and country songs!
